ABOUT WHAT A MOSAIC HAPPENS AND WHAT WILL COME FOR YOU

The oldest variety of material for mosaic is stone. Pieces of ornamental and even semiprecious stones of regular or fantasy form can be laid out in the form of an ornament, a story picture or just to revet the surface with them.

Marble, slate, travertine, serpentine, malachite, onyx, jasper, lapis lazuli and even artificial stone - the palette of colors and textures is almost limitless.

The mosaic from a natural stone can be with a rough surface, for example, from natural raw travertine, or with an equal smooth surface which was in addition processed. It should be remembered - in order to material from natural stone pleased you for many years, you need to take care of it. After processing by special means, the stone remains bright for many years, and the interior looks luxurious and expensive.

Glass mosaic, as opposed to stone, is more affordable, less whimsical and does not need additional care. Glass is durable, waterproof, not afraid of acids and household solvents, resistant to temperature extremes, does not fade in the sun. Glass mosaic is ideal for rooms with high humidity: swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), hammams, bathrooms and showers, and can also be used for cladding around work surfaces, for example, in the kitchen.

Instead of glass or stone, ceramics are often used to create mosaic floors, murals, and wall cladding. By its basic properties, ceramic mosaic does not differ from high-quality ceramic tiles, but it looks much more interesting and simplifies the finishing of any curved surface, for example, columns, niches or walls of complex shape.

Metal mosaic is very practical. Due to the fact that it is made of stainless steel, it can finish the room with almost any temperature and humidity level. The chemical compounds used in everyday life are not afraid of it; the mold, fungi and any microorganisms “do not survive”. The technical characteristics of this finish will vary slightly depending on the steel grade used to make it.
An important advantage of the mosaic as a whole is the possibility of mixing different types with each other. The art mosaic from glass can become the visual center of monophonic facing from a ceramic mosaic.

Risk, experiment, and any your imagination will be embodied in a real work of art.
